1883 praise for the Climate of Atlantic City

Atlantic City was always busy promoting itself. I found this reference in the April 1883, American Observer Medical Monthly, published in Pontiac, Michigan.

In 1883, the wealthier visitors to Atlantic City, probably stayed in the United States Hotel.

You may wonder how in the world, I find such odd things to post. Well in this case I had been in a discussion about Samuel Hahnamen and I decided to find out some more about him.  If you are interested in Hahnamen, their is an excellent article in the same edition, "Hahnamen, the founder of Scientific Therapeutics" by Dudgeon.

Perhaps another day, I will write a little bit about the Samuel Hahnamen.
